Originally from Des Moines, Iowa - I moved to The Netherlands with my family at 12 years old where I attended the American School of The Hague. After graduation, I studied at the University of Vermont where I earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. After college I headed west to Denver, Colorado where I eventually met my wife Jill and have lived ever since.
After college, I started my professional career in Customer Service with KBS Golf Shafts, an emerging golf brand, where I eventually became the Director of Marketing. After several years with KBS, I decided to pursue my calling and founded a tech startup named Myhub and later Joyrides. While the road was rocky at times, I ended up diving headfirst into learning UI / UX design and eventually software development so I could build products without wasteful spending.
Today, I enjoy building software that helps people in their daily lives. I also enjoy advising others so they can avoid the mistakes that I've made before. In general, I thrive on hard work and big ideas while taking pride in the smallest details.
